GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Ho, ho, ho! The Jolly Old Elf is coming back to Grand Rapids.
The Art Van Santa Parade, sponsored by the Grand Rapids Jaycees, gets underway at 9 a.m. Saturday and travels a new route this year.
This year, the parade will start at the corner of Michigan Street and Monroe Avenue NW, travel south on Monroe past Rosa Parks Circle and end at Market Avenue and Weston Street SW.
Once again, the parade will be televised on WOOD TV8 and hosted by eightWest's Rachael Ruiz and Terri DeBoer. The parade will also be streamed on woodtv.com.
A number of floats, bands, dancers, acts and Clydesdale horses will set the stage for Santa Claus himself as the holiday season begins.
