GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A federal air marshal pleaded not guilty to assaulting two people outside a downtown Grand Rapids bar in June.
Matthew Carl Davids, 34, was arraigned on one count of misdemeanor assault.
Police said a group of air marshals was partying in Grand Rapids in June when they kicked and punched two people outside a downtown bar.
However, Davids was the only air marshal involved in the alleged incident. Another person who is not an air marshal may be involved.
Davids will next be in court on September 25. The investigation continues.
