GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - Thousands of people flocked to downtown Grand Rapids for the Chalk Flood, the pillow fight and on the Fourth of July it was a massive balloon battle.

Tens of thousands of water balloons flew through the sky at Rosa Parks Circle Saturday afternoon.

The event was organized by Grand Rapids Community College student Rob Bliss, the same mind behind other downtown group events.

Bliss told us the next event will be August 1st and it will be an electronic music festival.
