Spinning to support fallen officers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - - Paying tribute to police officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Friday Grand Rapids and Wyoming police officers will take part in a 12-hour Spin-A-Thon to raise money for the Police Unity Tour.

The tour is a 300-mile bike ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. during National Police Week.

Friday the officers will be spinning, or riding stationary bikes, at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids from 8 a.m. until  8 p.m.
