GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Officials believe high winds are the cause behind a power outage that closed the Grand Rapids Public Museum and the downtown YMCA on Saturday.
Power was restored to the buildings around 2:10 Saturday afternoon.
Consumers Energy told 24 Hour News 8 around 300 customers in the area were without power. High winds may be a contributing factor.
Sporadic outages could continue throughout Saturday due to the wind.
