Lexicon Club fire cause 'undetermined'

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Investigators told 24 Hour News 8 the official cause of a fire that destroyed the Lexicon Club last week will be labeled as "undetermined."

The blaze sparked around noon Dec. 14 at the facility located at 209 Lexington Ave. NW in Grand Rapids. A house behind the club and a nearby garage also were damaged.

No one was in the club or house at the time.

The Lexicon Club was built in the 1800s and has been a staple for decades, and long been one of the hosts for a Pulaski Days celebration.
