They're all on display at the Gerald R. Ford Museum.
Picturing the Century: One Hundred Years of Photography, a travelling exhibition from the National Archives, opens at the Ford Museum September 12 and runs through January 9.
The color and black-and-white photos touch an everything that happened during the 20th Century, and feature photos both famous and infamous.
The portfolios of eight well-known photographers, including Ansel Adams and Dorothea Lange, are part of the display.
The Ford Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
