GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - The Ottawa Hills neighborhood in Grand Rapids celebrated a locally historic Fourth of July parade Saturday morning at the 75th Annual Hollyhock Lane celebration.

The parade is the oldest continuous Independence Day parade in the state.

The parade always features wagon floats and decorated bikes.

The historic parade is named after the alley between Giddings and Calvin, known to locals as Hollyhock Lane.

A song to commemorate the 75th year of the event was written by Carol Johnson.
