GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Downtown Grand Rapids will once again ring in the new year with a big celebration at Rosa Parks Circle.
Details of Hot New Year's Eve Party were unveiled Thursday morning. It will be sponsored by 105.3 Hot FM, paid for Citadel Broadcasting, and will be free and open to the public.
Uncle Kracker and Boys Like Girls will perform, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A ball will drop at midnight.
Vendors will sell hot, nonalcoholic drinks. There will be a heated, interactive area at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.
The inaugural "New Years on the Grand" was a big hit last year, as 20,000 people packed Rosa Parks Circle to welcome in 2009.
