GR firefighters respond to Morton House

No reports of injuries

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids firefighters responded to a blaze Monday night on the fifth floor of Morton House Apartments, 55 Ionia Ave NW.

    The fire started at around 9:20 p.m. Witnesses say they saw smoke coming from the building and people were evacuating.

    So far, there are no reports of injuries. By 10 p.m., the fire was extinguished.
