GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) -- A fire started in an upstairs room of a Grand Rapids home, causing about $10,000 worth of damage to the structure.
Firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to 636 Hogan St. SW and contained the fire to the room where the blaze started.
Three people were inside the home at the time but got out safely. About $2,000 worth of the house's contents were damaged.
Officials are waiting for carbon monoxide levels to decrease before they go in and determine a cause.
