5/3 River Bank Run raises $80K
17,500 people participated in the event

Officials say more than $80,000 was raised as a result of the Fifth Third River Bank Run.
The 32nd annual event took place earlier this month around Grand Rapids.
The money will go toward the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids Strong Kids Healthy U Program, Degage Ministries, Gilda's Club Grand Rapids, Kent County Girls on the Run, Kids Food Basket and My Team Triumph.
Fifth Third Bank officials say record participation made it all possible with more than 17,500 people participating in the event.
