GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One of the victims in Grand Rapids' worst-ever shooting rampage will be honored this weekend.
On Saturday, the Northern Little League will dedicate their tee-ball and softball field at Riverside Park to Marissa Emkens.
Marissa, age 10, was one of seven people shot and killed by Rodrick Dantzler in July 2011.
Marissa played softball with the Northern Little League team.
The dedication is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Marissa's mother Amanda Emkens was the sister of Dantzler's ex-girlfriend Kimberlee Emkens.
Dantzler also shot and killed his wife Jennifer Heeren, his daughter Kamrie Heeren, and his parents-in-law Rebecca and Thomas Heeren.
He then killed himself after a standoff in which he held three people hostage.
