GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The unprecedented events that unfolded Thursday afternoon affected Grand Rapids and West Michigan in many ways.
Rodrick Dantzler - accused of slaying seven people, including his own daughter - led police on a high-speed, wrong-way chase on a busy highway before bursting into a home and taking three hostages, then keeping police at bay before taking his own life.
The action played out in real time on-air and online.
