GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - After a man robbed a Fifth Third Bank branch at Eastern Avenue and Franklin Street Wednesday morning, police checked a lead he was connected to a home in the 700 block of Fuller Avenue SE. Though they searched the house, the suspect was not found.
However, three people at the home were detained, though they're not connected to the robbery. Investigators also detained one person from the search of a home on Prince SE, though that person is also not connected to the robbery.
The investigation continues.
