GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A third man pleaded guilty to rape, armed robbery and home invasion in a brutal attack on GVSU students in a home on Veto Street in June 2012.
Dorian Jones pleaded guilty to three counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct, four counts of armed robbery and one count of home invasion.
On June 4, assailants broke into the house on Veto Street NW where GVSU students lived. The men in the house were attacked and tied up, and a woman was pistol-whipped in the face and head, had her hands tied behind her back and blindfolded her with a bandana, then raped by two suspects and forced to perform oral sex on two others.
In November, Brandon Hodges and James Hodges pleaded guilty to similar charges.
None will be sentenced until another man, Rederick Melton, has his trial. However, that trial has been adjourned until forensic tests are returned.
If Melton is convicted, he will be sentenced at the same time as the Hodges and Jones.
