Replaced Margarita Grill in GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The downtown Grand Rapids restaurant-bar that replaced the Margarita Grill on Ottawa Avenue is now closed.

A sign outside the door of the 25 Kitchen + Bar said the restaurant is no longer open and a new concept will be announced soon.

The Margarita Grill went out of business in 2008 after the city pulled its liquor license after numerous violations, most notably the beating death of Jonathon Krystiniak by a group of young men.
