GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - 24 Hour News 8 took home three Emmys at the Saturday night Michigan Emmy Gala.
24 Hour News 8 was named best in the state for breaking news, continuing coverage and best anchor.
Ken Kolker won an Emmy for a series of reports "Tracking the FBI."

"The stories we received awards for were very serious subjects in our community. They touched us all deeply," said WOOD-TV News Director Rebecca Sapakie. "We are proud of the way we served West Michigan on those nights and every night."
Earlier this year, WOOD TV8 also won several awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, including Station of the Year, and earned several accolades from the Associated Press.
