GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two of three men were sentenced Tuesday for the attempted robbery of marijuana plants from a Grand Rapids residence earlier this year.
Devaun Archie was sentenced to six to 60 years in prison for armed robbery and five to 20 years for first-degree home invasion. The sentences will run concurrently and Archie received credit for 183 days served.
Raheem Gant was sentenced to 10 to 60 years in prison for armed robbery and five to 20 years for first-degree home invasion. The sentences will run concurrently and Gant received credit for 182 days served.
Gant was also sentenced for a probation violation and received two to 15 years in prison for second-degree home invasion with credit for 548 days served.
Archie and Gant, along with Christopher Hopkins, were arrested in March after they allegedly attempted to rob a residence that had medical marijuana plants inside.
