GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - An investigation is underway after two men were shot at a house party.

According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, the shooting happened just after midnight Saturday at a home near Lancashire Court and Marshall Avenue. After the shooting, one of the victims ran from the house to the Twisted Bull Bar.

Police tell 24 Hour News 8 that the victim who ran was shot in the leg and arm. He is expected to survive.

Police said that the other person shot did receive three bullet wounds and has life-threatening injuries. The victim, in his early 30's, was shot in the chest, head, and another unknown location.

Police have been interviewing witnesses. So far, the witnesses have told police that prior to the shooting, a birthday party was being held at the house when a group of uninvited guests arrived.

Officials said an argument started between the invited guests and the uninvited group. One of the uninvited guests took out a hand gun. Some of the party guests tried to hold this person down when the shots were fired.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 that there were about 20 people inside the home during the shooting.

Police do not have any suspects at this time and no arrests have been made.
