GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two men are being sought in connection with two armed robberies near the main campus of Grand Rapids Community College Wednesday.
Authorities said both happened around 7:20 p.m. The first robbery happened at Lafayette and Crescent, while the second was just blocks away at Barclay and Crescent.
In each, a man was walking on the sidewalk when two men came up and asked for the time. They then demanded his wallet and other valuable.
The first victim was threatened with a gun, and police believe the second victim -- who resisted -- was hit in the face with the gun.
