It was Oct. 29, 1929 when the stock market crashed on a volume of more than 16 million shares. The crash marked the beginning of the Great Depression.

Eighty years ago this week was Black Tuesday. Cornerstone professor Brad Stamm joined 24 Hour News 8 on Wednesday to explore parallels between what happened then and the current situation.
