GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - West Michigan hospitals welcomed children Wednesday with what some say is a special birth date.
The first baby was born at Bronson Battle Creek at 12 minutes after midnight. Brandon and Mary Gosline welcomed 9-pound, 3-ounce Wesley.
"Finally when the baby was delivered and it was 12:12, I just kind of looked at it in disbelief, and then the doctor and all the nurses looked at it and said, 'Oh my gosh,'" recounted Brandon. "It took about an hour for Mary to calm down, and she looked up at the board, and she said, 'Really?' And I said 'Yeah.'"

The first childbirth at Saint Mary's Health Care in Grand Rapids on the unique date occurred at 4:46 a.m.
Dallas Michael Auch was welcomed into the world, weighing 6 pounds, 12 ounces. His parents are Kaycie Tolar and Sean Auch.
