GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One of two men who police say are connected in the shooting death of a teenager has been sentenced.
Jeremy Lopez, 22, learned his punishment Thursday. He will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole. He was previously found guilty of felony murder.
It was November 2008 when 17-year-old Abelino Ramos was fatally shot in the driveway of a house in the 600 block of Shamrock Street SW.
The other suspect in the case, Mike Torres-Zuniga, was also found guilty. He will be sentenced in October and also faces a mandatory sentence of life behind bars without the chance of parole.
