SHEPHERD, Mich. (WOOD) - The Isabella County Sheriff's Department is looking for a 19-year-old man who they say suffers from several mental disorders and is not capable of taking care of himself.
Investigators said Juan Romero III left his group home, 9080 E. Pleasant Valley Road in Shepherd, Friday night. They say he was involved in an assault on one of the workers at the home and last seen around 11 p.m.. They say he can be violent.
Officials say Romero has not taken his medication since Friday morning and he is not familiar with the area.
Romero is a 19-year-old Native-American, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 280 pounds, has long, black hair (usually in a ponytail), a tattoo of "Big Brother" on the left side of his neck and another one with "Juan" and the number "3" below it on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a royal blue T-shirt, a dark gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white and black shoes. He may have an MP3 player with gold headphones with him.
