Woman killed in crash with tanker truck

Investigation continues in Lakeview

    LAKEVIEW, Mich. (WOOD) - Police say an elderly woman died after crashing with a milk tanker truck at M-91 and M-46 in Lakeview.

    Investigators say the accident happened at around 4:15 p.m. Sunday.

    The crash happened at the intersection but the vehicle the victim was in was dragged several hundred feet by the tanker truck.

    Police say the woman, 73-year-old Donna Donaldson of Greenville, was headed south on M-91 and was hit on the drivers side by a tanker truck headed west. There is a traffic light at the intersection but police say they are still trying to determine which vehicle had the right of way.

    The driver of the tanker truck was not hurt.

    Investigators did not release further details as their investigation continues.
