IONIA, Mich. (WOOD) - An Ionia County judge rejected a plea to create a class action lawsuit over the flooding that marred the B-93 Birthday Bash in June.
Attorneys for Clear Channel Radio and WBCT (B-93) argued that creating a class action lawsuit would be inappropriate because then the court would have to determine liability on the part of each car owner.
John Tallman, an attorney for about 100 clients affected by the flooding, said he will file individual law suits. He also said the judge left open the possibility to reapply for a single class action lawsuit at a later time.
