GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The boyfriend of a Montcalm County grandmother accused of hiding methamphetamine in her grandson's diaper has been sentenced for his part in the crime.
Roman Sobie will spend 10 months at the Montcalm County jail and he received 10 months of probation Tuesday.
He entered a guilty plea to possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance as part of a plea agreement. The grandmother, Lori Lynn Compo, was sentenced to 10 months in jail earlier this year after making a deal with county prosecutors.
In August, she entered guilty pleas to charges of maintaining a drug house, possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree child abuse.
