BOSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Four people have been charged after authorities found a methamphetamine lab in an Ionia County residence.

Adam Blake Cherpes and Trinity Cherpes from Belding, and Kristina Farley and Michael Farley from Lowell were arrested Wednesday in Boston Township.

Officers from the Central Michigan Enforcement Team, Lowell Police Department and Michigan State Police Ionia Post conducted the investigation. They found an active "one pot" reaction and acid gas generator in the residence.

Both male suspects were charged with operating/maintaining a meth lab and possession of meth lab components -- both 20-year felonies. Trinity Cherpes was charged with possession of meth lab components and use of meth. Kristina Farley was charged with operating/maintaining a meth lab and use of meth.

This is the 18th meth lab that CMET has cleaned up this year in Ionia County.

Anyone with information about drug crimes is asked to call CMET at (989) 352-6738.
