BELLEVUE, Mich. (WOOD) - No charges will be filed in the death of a man outside a Eaton County restaurant.

In May, police said Steve Wygant was at a bar in Bellevue
when he became upset and aggressive.

They said Wygant was struck by another man during a fight and hit his head on the pavement, causing a skull fracture that later led to his death.

Eaton County Prosecutor Jeff Sauter said the man was acting in self-defense, used reasonable force and only punched Wygant once before he fell.
