MIDDLEVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf and a group of civilian volunteers searched several areas between Middleville and Hastings Saturday morning for a man that has been missing since earlier this month.
More than 100 volunteers using all-terrain vehicles and searching on foot were unable to find any signs of 30-year-old Lucas Poll.
Volunteers also searched the area near McKeown Road and a section of the Thornapple River.
Family members are concerned because Poll suffers from a mental illness and has been without his medication for an unknown period of time.
His last contact with family members was over the phone on Feb. 26 at his home in Middleville.
