Vehicle hits pedestrian in Freeport

Victim's condition is unknown

FREEPORT, Mich. (WOOD) - The Barry County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian.

It happened Sunday as the victim was along the eastbound lane of Freeport Road near S. East Street in Freeport, according to a news release.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and his condition is unknown.

His name and the name of the Lake Odessa driver are being withheld at this time.
