HOPE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people were injured after the vehicle they were in hit a tree in Hope Township early Saturday morning.
Barry County Sheriff's Department tells 24 Hour News 8 the accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Lammers Road south of Ashby Road.
Two men and a woman were thrown from the vehicle after it hit a tree; none of the victims were wearing seatbelts.
One of the victims was flown via Air Care and the two others were taken by ambulance to a Kalamazoo hospital.
Authorities believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
