School: Men in truck approached student
Student did not get in truck with strangers

HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - Hastings Area Schools are sounding an alert about suspicious people who allegedly approached a student.
According to the district's website, a student reported that three men in a small red pickup-truck tried to lure her into their truck while she waited for the school bus.
The student did not get in the truck and called her parents.
The notice does not say where this happened, but it does say there will be extra officers in the area Friday.
The Barry County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
