Person escapes burning home

Cause of fire is unknown

    IRVING, Mich. (WOOD) - One person is safe after a home went up in flames in Irving.

    Dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 that the fire started just before 1 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Buehler Road, just north of Jarman Road.

    Four fire departments were dispatched to douse the flames.

    There is no word yet on what caused the fire in Barry County.
