RUTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A bicyclist was airlifted from Barry County to Grand Rapids after he was hit by a minivan on West State Road in Rutland Township.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. Friday, Barry County deputies said. The driver was headed east when he hit the bicyclist from behind near Hammond Road.
Aero Med picked up the bicyclist and flew him to Grand Rapids for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
