Family escapes Barry County house fire

ASSYRIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A family escaped a fire in their home early Tuesday morning.

One of the homeowners called 911 around 3 a.m. from a neighbor's house.

Firefighters arrived at the residence in the 1500 block of Jenkins Road in Assyria Township.

No other information is available at this time.
