CASTLETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people -- including two teenagers -- were taken to hospitals after two vehicles collided in Castleton Township late Sunday afternoon.
Dispatchers received a call at 5:13 p.m. regarding the wreck at the intersection of E. State Road and Price Road, 10 miles east of Hastings in Barry County.
Authorities told 24 Hour News 8 the driver of a northbound Chevrolet passenger van did not stop, resulting in the vehicle T-boning a Chevrolet Blazer.
Two medical helicopters transported the 19-year-old driver of the Blazer and 15-year-old passenger of the van to hospitals. These victims suffered serious injuries.
An ambulance transported the 52-year-old male driver of the van to a hospital. His condition is not known.
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor, but is not suspected at this time, police said in a news release.
