CASCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The northbound I-196 exit ramp to 109th Avenue (Exit 26) in Casco Township was closed for hours after a semi-truck rolled over Monday morning.
The driver was injured, authorities on the scene said. The nature and severity of those injuries is not yet known.
The truck was carrying 5,000 gallons of antifreeze, according to authorities on the scene.
The ramp was initially closed around 5:30 a.m. as emergency crews cleared the scene. Around 11 a.m., authorities were waiting for a company to arrive to pump the antifreeze out of the truck.
The ramp was opened around 2:30 p.m.
