VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A man lost control of his pickup truck, causing the vehicle to go off the road, down an embankment and crash into some trees.
Allegan County sheriff's deputies told 24 Hour News 8 the man was traveling on 42nd Street in Valley Township around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene west of Allegan and noticed the driver was unresponsive but conscious.
He was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Deputies said the gravel road, speed and alcohol may have contributed to the wreck.
