CANON CITY, Colo. (WOOD) - One of two men who fled a northern Michigan correctional facility in 2012 and then led authorities on a two-week, multi-state chase has pleaded guilty to charges in Colorado, according to a Canon City newspaper.
Gregory Bradshaw, 23, pleaded guilty in a Fremont County courthouse Wednesday to one count of second-degree burglary of a dwelling, according to the Canon City Daily Record.
Bradshaw has yet to be sentenced, but will spend between eight and 24 years in a Colorado prison under a plea agreement, the Daily Record reported. A Fremont County Assistant District Attorney said an extradition case against Bradshaw will likely be dropped if Michigan places a detainer on him.
Bradshaw along with Kenneth Grauman II, and their respective girlfriends Lauralee Grauman and Brittany Rector, were arrested Oct. 11 at a Canon City motel in which a methamphetamine lab was found. The four had been fleeing authorities since the two men escaped the Lake County Residential ReEntry Facility on Sept. 29. They allegedly stole several vehicles and committed several crimes in multiple states in their run from the law.
Kenneth Grauman was also in court Wednesday and will be back in court Feb. 20 for a hearing, according to the Daily Record.
Lauralee Grauman pleaded guilty to felony theft by receiving in Colorado in November 2012. Now back in Allegan County, she faces additional auto theft and home invasion charges.
Rector, who was 17 at the time of her arrest in Canon City, Colo., is also back in Michigan and faces home invasion and meth charges.
