ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - A man who attacked several people with a knife in March will spend at least two-and-a-half years behind bars.
Levi Nation attacked at least four people after showing up unannounced to a family gathering at a Trowbridge Township residence in the early hours of March 25.
Witnesses said he stabbed several people, tried to stab a pregnant woman and beat up two girls.
Nation was charged with eight separate assault charges in reference to four separate victims, including assault with intent to murder, assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
In July, Nation pleaded guilty to one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
On Monday, he was sentenced to between 32 months and 10 years in prison. He received credit for 176 days served.
