ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - An accomplice in a multi-state crime spree has pleaded to several charges in her Michigan case.
Lauralee Grauman has now pleaded to breaking and entering (a 10-year felony) and unlawfully driving away an automobile (a five-year felony), according to Allegan Police Chief Rick Hoyer.
She admitted to police to stealing food, clothes and guns from two Allegan County homes on Oct. 2 and 3, and to stealing a Ford Taurus on Oct. 3.
Sentencing is set for April 22.
Gregory Bradshaw, Kenneth Grauman II and their respective girlfriends, Lauralee Grauman and Brittany Rector, were arrested Oct. 11, 2012 at a Canon City, Colo. motel in which a methamphetamine lab was found. The four had been fleeing authorities since the two men escaped the Lake County Residential ReEntry Facility in Baldwin, Mich. on Sept. 29, 2012. The men picked up their girlfriends in Allegan County and proceeded to allegedly steal several vehicles and commit several crimes en route out West.
Lauralee Grauman pleaded guilty in November 2012 to one count of felony theft by receiving for the Colorado case, according to the Canon City Daily Record. Charges of misdemeanor theft by receiving, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a schedule II controlled substance were dismissed. She was sentenced to two years of supervised probation with 90 days in jail. As part of the agreement, Grauman agreed to testify truthfully against her co-defendants, and the district attorney's office agreed to allow her probation to be transferred to Michigan.
Rector faces charges of second-degree home invasion and stealing a car in Allegan County, and if convicted could spend up to 15 years in prison. She has also been charged with one count of operating or maintaining a meth lab connected to a Dec. 29, 2012 incident.
Bradshaw pleaded guilty in a Fremont County, Colo. courthouse to one count of second-degree burglary of a dwelling, according to the Canon City Daily Record. He has yet to be sentenced, but will spend between eight and 24 years in a Colorado prison under a plea agreement.
Kenneth Grauman is also in a Colorado jail, facing numerous charges.
