ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - Two women arrested after a multi-state manhunt last fall now face multiple felony charges each, most of which appear to be connected to their run from the law.

Lauralee Grauman and Brittany Rector were arraigned Monday on charges of felony second-degree home invasion for an Oct. 2, 2012 incident.

That is during the time that Grauman and Rector were fleeing authorities with their respective boyfriends Gregory Bradshaw and Kenneth Grauman (also Lauralee's cousin) after the men escaped from a northern Michigan correctional facility.

Court records show that both Grauman and Recto r admitted to police they broke in to a residence and stole food, clothes and guns.

Grauman was also charged with a second count of second-degree home invasion for an Oct. 3 incident and the Oct. 3 felony theft of a Ford Taurus that the four fugitives drove to Indiana. She turned herself in to authorities on Saturday.

Rector, who was arrested Jan. 11 in Allegan, was also charged with one count of operating or maintaining a meth lab connected to a Dec. 29, 2012 incident.

According to investigators, Rector was seen buying drain cleaner in Hamilton on or around that date. Police soon made contact with her at an Allegan residence. She admitted to officers she had purchased the drain cleaner to make meth, but became scared and got rid of it. Police found the cleaner, along with other chemicals used in the making of meth, in a car.

Her bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety.

If both women are convicted on all charges, they could each spend 35 years behind bars.

After the men escaped from the Baldwin facility on Sept. 29, they met up with their girlfriends in Allegan County and eluded local authorities for days before fleeing the state. Rector was 17 at the time.

The four eluded police in Indiana as well and then allegedly committed several crimes in several states before eventually being arrested at a Colorado motel on Oct. 11.

Kenneth Grauman and Bradshaw remain in jail in Colorado on numerous charges.
