Fire sparks at Allegan County home

Officials were called to the scene Friday

ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - A fire sparked at a home in Allegan County Friday night.

Fire officials said they were called to the home on Russel Street after 11 p.m.

Officials told 24 Hour News 8 that the caller told dispatchers that he woke up smelling smoke.

Everyone inside of the home was able to make it out safely, but the cause of the fire is unknown.
