GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The teenage girl arrested in Colorado with two escaped inmates and another woman was in a courtroom Monday.
Brittany Rector, 17, was arrested moments after her 32-year-old boyfriend, Kenneth Grauman II, and Gregory Bradshaw were arrested. Rector and Laura Grauman -- Kenneth's cousin -- were taken into custody in a traffic stop in Canon City, Colorado.
She's being held in a juvenile detention facility.
Rector's mother was not able to tell to 24 Hour News 8 Monday evening what charges her daughter will face.
The case may become complicated determining who gets charged with what, and determining what extent Rector was involved as she traveled across the country with the other three.
It is unknown when the four will be extradited to Michigan, where they may face the most serious of the charges.
