KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Kalamazoo Public Schools and the Kalamazoo Education Association announced Wednesday there is a new contract for the district's teachers.
The contract has been ratified by KEA members and approved by the Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education, according to a news release.
The three-year contract, with economic provisions expiring after the first year, includes a .25% base salary increase and a 1.25% one-time bonus.
"The district and the association appreciate our collaborative approach in reaching this agreement."
