GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - 24 Hour News 8 is watching out for your kids' health and finding out what you need to know about vaccinations.

Dr. Donna Harold of Spectrum Health Medical Group has some tips.

After the interviewed aired, Karen Kohlruss, RN BSN, vaccine program manager and clinical educator for Holland Pediatric Associates, contacted 24 Hour News 8. She wanted to make sure there wasn't any confusion regarding the meningitis vaccine. Kohlruss said "the meningitis vaccine IS required by our state for 1) those who are 11 years of age and are entering sixth grade as well as 2) for any student 11-18 years of age who are transferring into a new school system."
