GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Just weeks after voters rejected a $98.8 million bond issue , the Grand Rapids Community College board has voted to raise fees to cover repair costs at the college.
The board voted Monday night to institute a $100 per semester facilities fee for full-time students and $60 for part-time students.
GRCC is also considering selling as much as $30 million in bonds because bond rates are so low, and whether the school should go back for a smaller bond issue in 2013 or later.
