Back to school: Keeping kids safe

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Many kids across West Michigan went to class Tuesday for the new school year.

Parents can prepare their children for everything.

But how do parents know their kids are staying safe once they leave their sight for the day?

Grand Rapids Police Officer Terry Dixon has some tips.
